It wasn't until February 2022, during the Trade Caravan event, that players were able to acquire it for their hangars for 15 million credits. As mentioned, this tank is very similar to its siblings, such as the IS-3 and IS-5. Therefore, the Kirovets-1 boasts powerful armor. It has a cast turret with excellent slopes. The hull is also well protected. The front of the turret is well-angled, making it very durable. Furthermore, the Kirovets-1 lacks a "pike nose," allowing it to effectively engage enemy vehicles with its frontal hull by traversing the hull. The sides are also well protected, and with proper placement, it can achieve many non-penetration and ricocheting shots. And, of course, always keep an eye on the minimap and be wary of artillery, as a huge HE shell to the roof can cause a lot of trouble.
