Clear Lake Bassmaster Kayak Series – Day 1 Tournament

S2:E4 Bassmaster Kayak Series at Clear Lake was a grind from start to finish. The fishing was tough all week, and high winds during the tournament made boat control and decision-making even more difficult. After a rough prefish, my confidence was low heading into tournament day. With the wind blowing, I was forced to launch and fish an area I wasn’t completely comfortable with. I stuck with a 4.5" Roboworm and kept grinding until I was finally able to squeeze out a limit near the end of the day. This video shows the ups and downs of tournament kayak fishing, tough conditions, Clear Lake bass fishing, and what it takes to keep your head in the game when the plan doesn’t go exactly how you hoped.
