Trailer Loading: Preparation For A Young Filly
I spent four days with a couple of young unhandled horses preparing them for a long drive: Trailer training is usually the last thing I would address but sometimes that process goes out the window & we need to be able to change things around for the situation you might be dealing with. Ultimately horses need some basic training & desensitising before thinking about asking them into a trailer. Thankfully I had a few days to work with them to gain their trust to get it done safely. This is some video footage we obtained of the young mare.
