Double Sided Resin Coasters | Reversible | 3D Resin Bloom & Marbled Effect

Hi there! Today’s video is all about how I made these double sided resin coasters. I’m so pleased with how they turned out! I love that there’s no hint of either design visible from the reverse view. I’ve seen lots of videos/posts where people are claiming they’ve made double sided coasters but really it’s just that they happen to look nice from both sides and not that they’ve been specifically designed with 2 different looks in mind (no hate, just an observation). That’s why I set about making these. I made these using the NicPro resin which I was very kindly gifted. This resin is available on Amazon via this link - https://www.amazon.com/stores/page/83... I can honestly say this resin is excellent. It’s got quite a high viscosity which really worked well for the 2 techniques I used. The density held my floral blooms well. The white resin dragged the right amount and didn’t sink and flatten to the base of the mold. The resin also worked well with my marble effect. It didn’t run and warp over the curing period which I’ve experienced in the past with other thinner resins. I put the resin in a vacuum chamber for about a minute after mixing. The bubbles released very easily which I was surprised at given it’s higher viscosity. I can imagine this resin being perfect for ocean waves because I think it’s got the right consistency to stay where you put it. I’m looking forward to using it more.
