How to take care of the care through having proper housing design which is capable of collecting the waste. What are the supplements that you need to give to your cow for maximum milk production or high fat content. I ventured into dairy farming because i like milk. I have an office where i take record on how the cows are doing. It helps me identify when the cow is almost on heat. I take data on my office and i am able see the animals. Total zero grazing to my animals. That leads to high yield and i enjoy doing this. It also help me increase my household income. I have three types of breeds, I have Ayrshire breed, Friesian and Guernsey. I have kept all these because i wanted to know which one will give the best yield, enough milk and which one is diseases resistant. Ayrshire cow milk milk has the highest butter fat content and diseases resistant as compared to others. Guernsey on the other side it gives alot of milk and low butter fat but if compared to frieasian then friesian has alot of milk. It is also short in size. Whenever on heat it has high fertility rate, whenever served you are sure with the result. Friesian on the other hand produces a lot of milk with low fat content. Friesians are very delicate and you can easily loose them to diseases. I feed my cows on dry matter and i only add salt to the dry matter. Benefits of feeding them on dry matter, once they take it they will be able to drink alot of milk hence high milk production. Sometimes we give them desmodium and molato. Molato contains alot of protein and i have even planted them. Both Molato 1 and 2. I also feed them on dairy milk and salt
