In this adventure, we ventured into a little-explored area of ​​the Huánuco region, specifically in the district of Cholón, in the hamlet of Santa Rosa de Oso. A place where almost no one goes… and where vestiges of the past still lie hidden. After a difficult and obstacle-filled journey, we reached a surprising site: an ancient stone structure that, at first glance, could be mistaken for a tomb. However, its true function cannot yet be confirmed. What is clear, though, is that it is a pre-Hispanic ruin over 1,000 years old. Was it a burial site? A ceremonial space? Or something else entirely?
