Scicli is a city in the Province of Ragusa in the southeast of Sicily, Italy. Rebuilt following the devastating earthquake of 1693, the architecture of Scicli has been recognised as a fine example of Sicilian Baroque art in Europe and, along with seven other cities in the Valley of Noto, was declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 2002. The main tourist attractions of Scicli are the buildings along Via Mormino Penna and the Sicilian Baroque churches in the city such as the Church of St John the Evangelist, the Church of St Michael the Archangel and the Mother Church of San Guglielmo. The Old Pharmacy Cartia Museum and the Costume Museum on Via Mormino Penna, though small, also draws many tourists to visit them. Hope you enjoy this video.
