F-16 Aggressor • Training Missions (GSI 1998)

F-16 Aggressor was developed by General Simulations Incorporated and released for Windows in 1998. It reminds me a bit of Strike Commander, as it has similar setting - flying as a mercenary unit in an F-16. I never played it thoroughly, basically only tried the demo in late 90s and later even got a full version - it was included as Cover CD with the 08/2002 issue of the CD-Action magazine here in Poland. But since it didn't run well on more modern systems I have shelved until I tried it recently on PCem. EDIT: I've uploaded the CD image to internet archive: https://archive.org/details/aggressor... The game features F-16C Falcon, which is modelled pretty well - the cockpit had to be one of the best representation of Viper cockpit up to this point, though the avionics (MFD pages) were loose interpretations of the real thing. The flight model was rather well modelled. The manual reserved a whole chapther on how meticulous the FM is in this sim, taking into account how the real FLCS of the jet is integrated into the control loop of the digital aircraft. For this video I will take part in the availble training missions. I didn't had prior experience with this sim sans for a one test flight. I also only glanced through the controls in the manual. But luckily most of the controls will be mentioned by the instructor during the missions. Let me know if you would like to see a full playthrough of this sim - it might be interesting.
