La Victoria: capturan a banda criminal que alquilaba armas de fuego a delincuentes

In a large-scale operation, National Police officers arrested three members of a family in La Victoria. They are accused of the alleged crimes of illegal possession of firearms and drug trafficking. The raid took place at a house on Luna Pizarro Street; neighbors alerted authorities that a man who was stealing car parts from parked vehicles was hiding there. Carlos M., 29, alias "Colorado," was arrested at the scene. Also arrested were Víctor B., 41, and Frida G., 79, who is the mother and grandmother, respectively, of the three individuals arrested. All three have prior police records, complaints filed against them, and outstanding warrants for various crimes. THEY RENTED WEAPONS Authorities found approximately 400 grams of drugs, three pistols with loaded magazines and 25 rounds of ammunition, as well as two walkie-talkies, in the house. The elderly woman repeatedly attempted to obstruct the police operation. According to the initial statements of those arrested, they rented out these pistols, claiming to be unaware of how their clients ultimately used them. They were taken to the La Victoria police station for further investigation.
