This was recorded on stage at Boston Symphony Hall in the late evening hours of May 3, 2017. In this take, Toby Oft plays Rochut, Etude No. 23 start to finish in one take (take six). Trombone Equipment: Mouthpiece: Bresslmair, Y1-58, B58 Rim Leadpipe: PE 1 Trombone: Edwards T350HB, Oft red bell, Slide: Edwards TBCN (nickel crook) The Recording Engineer was James Donahue and his crew at Whiskey Lane Productions with help of his students at the Berklee College of Music. The microphones were entirely provided by Royer Labs.
