A Night in One of Denver's Most Haunted Places – Brocarde explores The Peabody Whitehead Mansion
Brocarde spent a night alone inside one of Denver's most haunted locations, the infamous Peabody Whitehead Mansion at 1128 Grant Street, Denver, Colorado. Built in 1889 and now partially converted into renovated apartments, the historic mansion is widely regarded as one of the most haunted places in Colorado. For decades, paranormal investigators and visitors have reported ghost sightings, unexplained noises, strange apparitions, and an unsettling atmosphere that continues to fuel its haunted reputation. For this rare overnight investigation, Brocarde stayed alone in the mansion's basement apartment, surrounded by Victorian medical artefacts, antique surgical instruments, prosthetic limbs, eerie dolls, and remnants of the building's long and mysterious history. As darkness fell, ordinary sounds became unsettling, unexplained light flickers appeared, and the feeling of being watched grew stronger as the night progressed. The mansion was originally built by Dr. William Whitehead, whose life and medical career became entwined with local legends of haunted soldiers and restless spirits. It was later home to former Colorado Governor James H. Peabody, adding another fascinating chapter to the property's remarkable history. Over the years, the building has also served as a boarding house, restaurant, nightclub, jazz venue, and now luxury apartments, with each era contributing to its enduring paranormal reputation. Did anything genuinely paranormal happen during the night? Watch until the end and decide for yourself.
