I am currently in Romic, and Tiger soldiers are stationed in Eyat. No one has ever attacked them. The claim that Mayen Kuoriak has rebelled is baseless and untrue. He is currently in his house in Mapara. He clarified that there is no rebellion in Tonj East County and condemned the fake news circulating on social media about the situation in Romic town. He emphasized that there has been no gunfire heard in the county this month, and there are no rebels in the area. The county remains peaceful, with economic activities continuing as usual and the community living in harmony.
