The Spark Gang uses the dung beetle’s stone ray to make a bazooka and hits Volt with a surprise attack, turning him into stone. With Volt and Sharkross V out of action, the dung beetle monster and mechamon try to destroy the energy tower. As things start looking dangerous, Jody succeeds in turning Volt back to normal, and Sharkross V is dispatched. Although its arms are turned to stone by the dung beetle monster’s stone ray, it uses this to its advantage, taking down the dung beetle monster with a powerful punch. The Spark Gang develops a device that turns all lifeforms into babies. Volt and Kai respond to a false alarm from Alf and are turned into babies. Bobo underestimates Baby Volt but Baby Volt and Baby Kai are stronger than he thinks. Bibi, Bobo and Iron are kept on their toes by Volt and Kai until Iron manages to put them to nap with a lullaby. Meanwhile, the V Rangers find out that Volt and Kai are in danger, find a potion to return them to their normal selves, and send Chichi to the rescue. Volt and Kai are just about to fall off the cliff, held by the Spark Gang’s crane. Chichi manages to save them in the nick of time, and give Volt and Kai the potion. Volt and Kai return to normal, transform into rangers and take down the soldiers bots and battle-mode Bobo. Dr. Spark creates a penguin monster using dark energy. Although the penguin monster looks funny trying to kick with its short legs, it turns out to be a formidable foe that can turn everything to ice. Meanwhile, Volt collides with Kai in the lounge and suddenly recalls his past life in Miniforce. Just then, Volt is summoned to HQ with news that the penguin monster is attacking Green City. Volt rides the V Rangers’ second robot, a giant triple combination robot called Trino V, into Green City to fight off the penguin monster. However, the penguin monster freezes Trino V. Volt manages to escape from the ice right in the nick of time, using the emergency power device. He then summons the new weapon, V Dino Axe, to vanquish the monster in one clean blow.
