Midnight Sun Randonnee 2026 full recap

1,200 kilometers. 2 countries. Countless memories under a sun that never sets—and weather that tested everything I had. 🚴‍♂️☀️🌧️ ​From June 14–18, I took on the Midnight Sun Randonnee super brevet, cycling all the way across Sweden and Norway. We rolled out right after a heavy downpour, and the rain followed us through sections of the route. Temperatures routinely plummeted to 5°C, but the ultimate test was the Arctic Circle Center: it was a bone-chilling 0°C with a brutal, freezing headwind pushing against us. ​Despite the elements, the journey was absolutely surreal. Riding through the breathtaking fjords, stopping in the lovely town of Mo i Rana, and pushing past the Arctic milestones made every shivering kilometer worth it. ​I couldn't have crossed that finish line alone.
