A 35-year-old man, identified as Anil Sethi of Patharabandha Sahi, reportedly went missing after being swept away in a drain near Vani Vihar. Fire Services and Commissionerate Police have launched an intensive search and rescue operation. A pair of slippers was found near the drain, while officials believe three people had come to the spot, but one was swept away by the strong current. Bhubaneswar Mayor visited the rescue site and questioned the delay in the ongoing drainage work, alleging that the incomplete project has contributed to the incident.
