Best Catches of 2024

And finally, here we have my annual Best Catches of the Year compilation! 2024 definitely treated me quite well railfanning-wise, even if the lash-ups did get a bit more boring in the latter half of the year, as 79 different trains made the cut for this video. Got to head out to Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas for the first time, as well as revisiting Indiana and the Carolinas. Also got a ton of cool older crossing signals recorded this year as well in all of the areas I visited, along with finally being able to shoot all eight of the crossings on the elusive CSX Nashville Subdivision thanks to a change-up in the schedules for the local freights that work it. I even got to do a pretty decent chase on the CSX Norlina Subdivision and film a bunch of WABCO mechanical bells in the process, though y'all'll've to wait on my 2024 crossings compilations for most those (and yes, I'm bringing that series back!). Hopefully 2025 will be another great year for railfanning as well, though I know I've already gotten some decent stuff shot. 0:00 1. SD40E leading NS A83 0:15 2.
