Walking Danes Dyke to Sewerby | Stormy Skies, Sunshine & Big Life Choices
It is Day 3 of my East Coast holiday, and this afternoon I'm taking a walk from Danes Dyke along the beach south toward Sewerby. The tide has just hit its high mark and started to recede, leaving the shore open for exploration. The weather today couldn't make up its mind—we start in the rain, push through a rumble of thunder, and finish in brilliant sunshine. Walking along this beautiful stretch of coastline gives me some time to chat, contemplate life, and face that familiar question that always hits me by the sea: is it finally time to move to the coast?
