I Finally Fixed the One Thing Wrong With My Flea Circus

I built the world’s greatest flea circus back during lockdown — complete with motors, PICAXE chips, and a whole lot of tiny engineering. Back then, I powered everything with separate batteries just to keep the electronics from interfering with each other. This year, I tore it all apart and rebuilt the entire power system from scratch. The Flea Circus now runs on a single rechargeable battery, with buck converters isolating every subsystem so the motor and microcontrollers play nicely together. In this video, I walk through the full upgrade process, the challenges, the wiring, and the final results. If you followed the original build series, this is the glow‑up you’ve been waiting for.
