Professional shearing is a trade that takes years to learn. We met Laura and Gabby, two shearers who live in Ariège and who shared with us their love for this ancestral profession which, after having gone through mechanization and modern shearing techniques with electric machines, sometimes returns to shearing by hand (scissors) out of respect for the animal and the beauty of the gesture in competitions!
