Our Stay Charge: ₹9000 per day (including breakfast) + ₹1500 per day (Pet Charges) Day 3 of Munnar: We started the day exploring the Camelot Resort property, taking in their impressive vintage car collection—including a Jeep once used by Amitabh Bachchan in the movie Nishabd. The resort is known for its exclusive Gold Tea, priced at ₹1.5 lakh per kg! The property is also dotted with a variety of fruit trees like Oranges, Strawberries, Strawberry Guava, and Pomegranates, all surrounded by a wide expanse of lush tea gardens. Later, we headed towards Munnar city but had to turn back from Munnar Photo Point, en route to Mattupetty Dam, due to heavy Janmashtami traffic. On the way, we discovered a small waterfall stream—perfect for washing the car, snapping some photos, and of course, a surprise guest: a leech that caught a ride on Mayank’s leg! As evening set in, we stopped at a small tea point surrounded by serene tea gardens to enjoy a warm plate of Maggi. We ended the day back at the resort with some delicious vegetarian food in celebration of Krishna Janmashtami.
