On our epic road trip from the UK to Pakistan, this episode takes us from Bihać, Bosnia & Herzegovina, to the historic Ottoman city of Mostar, famous for its iconic 15th-century Old Bridge. We drove through a stormy night in the mountains, facing extremely challenging conditions. Low clouds and heavy rain reduced visibility to almost nothing, but after hours of careful driving, we finally reached Mostar at 11:30 PM. Everything was closed due to the severe weather — which unexpectedly gave us a rare chance to explore the Old Town completely alone. Walking through the empty, rain-soaked streets and standing by the Old Bridge felt like stepping back into the 15th century. The next morning, the storm eased, and I went out early to capture the beauty of Mostar by drone. With the rain finally gone, the views were absolutely spectacular. Strolling through the Old City in the quiet morning light was nothing short of magical. After exploring Mostar, we continued our journey to Stolac, home to an ancient fortress originally built in the 5th century by Byzantine Emperor Constantine I and later expanded by the Ottomans in the 15th century. After a quick drone session over the fort, we drove onward to Neum, Bosnia’s coastal city, before crossing into Croatia and making our way to Dubrovnik.
