In this video I conduct a proper endurance test using a pack of 12 Parkside 125mm metal cutting discs from Lidl (£2.99) to see how many it takes to cut the chuck off a Dewalt drill. Using a Parkside Performance 20v angle grinder with a fully charged 8Ah battery, I carefully and methodically cut through the Dewalt chuck to find out just how far these cheap budget cutting discs will go. No tricks. No disc swapping early. Just honest cutting until it drops. The result? 5½ discs out of the 12-pack. That means the chuck came off for less than £1.50 worth of Lidl cutting discs.
