Pixel Art Class - Tile Set Art
Heya pals! I've had a tile set video for Pixel Art Class ready for a long time but I was recently working on this one for Project Apollo on stream and I thought the process turned out really well so here's that instead :) The key with any tile set is to create enough variation so that the repetition isn't as obvious. This little walk-through hopefully shows some of the do's and don'ts of making your own pixel art tile sets. Always start with a plan, try different ideas and place your WIP tiles in game for testing as often as you can! These will help you use your intuition a lot more efficiently. Lots more content coming very soon. ---- This video features clips from my stream. Catch it live: Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri 1-6pm AEST.
