Karl May Spiele in Elspe starten am Wochenende

The Elspe Festival presents the play 'Winnetou – Chief of the Apaches' on its vast open-air stage. Audiences travel with Old Shatterhand to New Mexico, where he is searching for work and finds himself caught in the middle of a land dispute and the peace of the Apache tribe. Over 60 actors and more than 40 horses provide action and stunning visuals. Spectacular stunts and sets depict the struggle for power and the Apache territory. The shows run from June 27 to September 13, and tickets start at around €33. Winnetou narrates in his own words how he fights for peace and justice for his people. In the story, bandit leader Santer, driven by greed for gold, wants to build the railroad through Apache land – contracts are broken, and mistrust grows. ─────────────────── SAT.1 NRW – Live at 5:30 PM The regional program for North Rhine-Westphalia with Bastian Wiedenhaupt and Marc Hillen.
