According to the Book of Genesis, the Garden of Eden was a paradise planted by God Himself, overflowing with beauty and abundance. It was said to be watered by a single river that split into four mighty streams, flowing through lands rich with gold, bdellium, and onyx. Every tree that was “pleasant to the sight and good for food” grew there, including the Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. The air would have been pure and fragrant, the light soft and golden, the earth vibrant with color and life.
