In this Photoshop Tutorial I focus on Layer Masks. The Mask function allows you to hide or reveal parts of an image at will, creating all kinds of effects, depending on the visual result you want to achieve. The Photoshop Mask is an additional layer, by default white, which is applied to an existing layer, and thanks to the use of black it is possible to hide an object in a "non-destructive" way, therefore without damaging our source file. On the contrary, with white, you can return to the starting image in an infinite cycle of digital retouching that allows you to create visuals of all kinds, from photo editing to matte painting.
