#42 Composición: El CONTRASTE en la fotografía - Alter Imago

Contrast is one of the main elements of composition in photography, however, many of us have only a partial understanding of this concept. Much is said about tonal contrast, the difference between light and shadow in a photograph, but there's more to it than that. We can talk about chromatic contrast or color contrast, saturation contrast, intensity, shape, size, texture, sharpness, weight, complexity, etc. Ultimately, as Jeremy Webb defines it in his book "Photographic Design," contrast is the difference between elements or objects in a photograph based on any of their properties and characteristics. In this video, we discuss all of this, and I highly recommend Jeremy Webb's book as part of your photography library. If you have photos that refer to these concepts, share a link in the comments section. If you haven't taken photos like this, I invite you to do so and share the results with us!
