Landscape Drawing in Charcoal - St Elvan, near Helston in Cornwall
The weather has been so bad in Cornwall lately, I thought it was a good chance to do some more landscape drawing in the studio. For most of this drawing I am using willow charcoal on Fabriano 300lb / 640gsm hot pressed paper. I also used some homemade liquid charcoal and charcoal powder. The view is of an insignificant field - but I like it! The little stile caught my eye as the afternoon light struck the hedgerow behind. I also loved the fairly tall trees that grew next to the stile. I love the Autumn / Winter landscape. Hope you enjoy the video - please don't forget to subscribe if you like the video.
