And the power of transformation. Only, the first three drops mind, the rest is pure poison. This story, from the Mabinogion, possibly illustrates a belief in rebirth or reincarnation among Celtic cultures. As well as perhaps providing some of the basis for later legends of the Holy Grail, among other stories of grails, wells and fountains in British and Irish mythology.
