I hadn't been able to visit my hideout for a while, using busyness as an excuse... And literally, the land was covered in weeds like a soccer field. It made me wonder if this was really the same land I knew... So today, I went through the full course of total grueling work: weed removal, herbicide application, and preparing the space for the vegetable garden. Rural life... Seriously, if you let your guard down for even a moment, this is what happens.
