This episode is part one of two about Freya's career. Freya is proof the cream really does rise to the top. Starting out as a fan making content with her boyfriend for their side Topmid.gg early access to events allowed her to show her skills as an interviewer. Her moment to break into the broadcast side came upon entering a community competition run by FACEIT. While she didn't win it they decided to use her for some events and soon enough that had parlayed into incredibly getting to be an interviewer on stage at the FACEIT London Majoer in 2018! Freya would work with Dreamhack Open and eventually FLASHPOINT but it was during the online years her next evolution would occur. While other events were entirely online and remote Freya travelled to Copenhagen to participate in BLAST's in-studio broadcast with Maniac and Pimp, two of her most well known colleagues now. That helped establish her as truly tier one at her role and she has rarely looked back since. The biggest events in Counter-Strike either feature Freya or draw conspicuous attention for not doing so. In part one, Freya talks about the family background that led her into gaming, being a fan of EnVyUs early on, why she didn't win the FACEIT community competition, working with Maniac and Pimp and what FLASHPOINT was like for her.
