The Philippine Marine Special Operations Group (MARSOG)

The Philippine Marines Special Operations Group or better known as MARSOG is the elite amphibious special forces of the Philippine Marine Corps. They specialize in unconventional warfare, SEAL operations, demolitions and other operations that support the overall naval operations of the Philippine Navy. Formerly known as the Force Recon Battalion, what differentiates this unit from the NAVSOG and the rest of the special forces in the Philippines is they can execute missions deeper inland using tactics developed by the 1st Scout Rangers Regiment and the Special Forces Regiment (Airborne).
