1967 VW Beetle - Engine Tune Up & Installation
Time is ticking away and November 12th will be here in a few weeks. Sam will be debuting our Video Blog 1967 VW Beetle for the first time. The Airhead Campers VW Roundup in Florence, AZ is the spot and we will be driving it about 180 miles, there and back. So making sure the engine is in order is pretty important to say the least! Since we got the engine running on a stand in our last video after it's first oil change in what might be 2 plus decades, the rear main seal started leaking so the first order of business is getting it replaced. Sam follows that by adjusting the valves, replacing the spark plugs, installing an original vacuum advance distributor and then setting the timing and adjusting the carburetor. Once the engine was tuned and runny well, it could be reinstalled into the 1967 Beetle and we are one step closer to having this VW Beetle road worth once again! ------------------------------------------------------------- Follow us on our social media accounts!
