These bikes are both stock. 300 2-strokes: Fuel Injection vs Carburetor - which is better? 25 KTM 300XCW Champion Edition 2:41.0 Responsive and smooth and strong 2-stroke power, super agile, lightweight, and plush suspension 24 300 Race Edition Lap TIme: 2:40.7 Classic 2-stroke carb strong smooth power with crisp throttle response, plush KYB suspension, quick agile handling and the overall Beta Rideability Only 0.3 sec difference - basically a tie! The KTM 300XCW Champion Edition is designed for this tighter woods single track with smooth linear power, lightweight and agile handling, and plush suspension. Even with a simple carb and mechanical power valve the Beta 300 Race Edition engine runs exceptionally clean and crisp with smooth linear power. So prefer tech or simplicity? Both great bikes!
