Alpaka Flow TotePack // One Bag. Two Carries. No Compromise. // Full Review
The Alpaka Flow Totepack is Alpaka's first totepack. Previously, Alpaka had the Bravo Totepack, but it couldn't be used as a tote bag, which made it feel incomplete. With this one, Alpaka has included everything a totepack should have. After using it on my recent trip to China and Hong Kong, with my wife using it and me using it on some days, I found it to be very unisex. Regarding carrying options, this bag can be worn as a tote or a backpack, and it does so very well. It features new padded straps, similar to those on the Vertigo tote, making it comfortable for all-day use. The only downside is that the straps are a bit prone to dust accumulation and fraying. Alpaka chose to use these straps as backpack straps as well. Initially, I was concerned about their lack of padding, but based on my one international trip, I think it's fine for city travel with breaks and not carrying a lot of weight. However, if you're heavily loaded and carrying it all day, I wouldn't recommend it. The backpack straps are designed to be stored away. When used as a tote, it looks neat with no annoying dangling backpack straps. When used as a backpack, the tote straps can be neatly stored away. This is a very thoughtful design feature. The back has a luggage passthrough strap that can be attached to a rolling suitcase handle. The sides have expandable water bottle compartments that can hold 32-ounce bottles, but they don't have straps to secure them. The front compartment is very large, with internal zippered dividers, two larger compartments, and a mod key tether for attaching keys. The top of the bag has a hidden compartment that I really like. It's large and can hold a phone, small earphones, and other items you need quick access to. It closes with a magnetic system. And when converting it to a backpack and you don't want the tote straps sticking out, I just put them in here. The main compartment has a two-way zipper. Inside, there's a separate compartment for a 16-inch MacBook and a compartment for a 13-inch iPad. There's one zippered stretchy pocket and one internal water bottle pocket. On the back, there's one compartment for storing the backpack straps when not in use, or you can put an 11-inch iPad in it. Capacity: 14 liters, Weight: 1.05 kg It uses Alpaka's new fabric, Axoflux 400D Washed Nylon, which differs from regular Axoflux 400D. The grid pattern is less pronounced than regular 400D, and the fabric has a slight wrinkle texture typical of washed nylon. Overall, this is my dream totepack. It has everything I want from a totepack. It can be used as a vertical tote or a backpack. The straps are soft, there are plenty of compartments, and while it's not extremely lightweight, it's worth it. But considering the features, it's not too heavy. 🔖Alpaka Flow Totepack Price 6,460 THB Shopee https://s.shopee.co.th/9UvBCcde3n Lazada https://s.lazada.co.th/s.ZbDeyO?cc #alpakagear #slashmode #packtrovert #EDCgear #EverydayCarry #fastpacesetup
