Snowy Day Drive: ZIL 131 6x6 Wakes Up at −14°C in Deep Snow

A proper winter morning with −14°C, 30 cm of fresh snow, and a classic ZIL-131 6x6 that hasn’t been started for 2 months. The Zil is also known from the Mudrunner and Snowrunner game. In this video we do a cold-weather intro, open the bonnet to pump fuel, climb into the cab, and try a cold start in deep winter conditions. The V8 petrol engine fires on half a crank proving once again why these old military trucks are legendary. After warming the engine and some revving we take the ZIL-131 for a short drive through deep snow on the field. No modern electronics — just raw mechanics, cold air and the sound of a V8 in winter.
