People's Party of Arunachal (PPA) has opposed the implementation of the Arunachal Pradesh Freedom of Religion Act (APFRA), 1978, and called on the state government to convene a special session of the Legislative Assembly to discuss the issue. Addressing the media, PPA president Nabam Vivek said the matter requires extensive discussion and consultation with all stakeholders.
