How to Install Woven Vinyl Flooring on a Speedboat

This tutorial video is part of our Speedboat Makeover Series, where we update the interior of a used Malibu speedboat to look brand-new. You too can update any used speedboat by following this video series. In this tutorial, we replace old carpet flooring with woven vinyl flooring. This DIY project demonstrates using the old flooring as a pattern for the new. However, we also show how to pattern the floor using Dura-Skrim® if the old flooring cannot be removed intact. We used a vinyl mesh flooring called Chilewich, and we recommend AAT 390 Marine & Exterior Adhesive when attaching Chilewich flooring. Both are available at Sailrite®.
