Umahi Addresses Aide’s Death, Calls for Police Investigation

Minister of Works, David Umahi, has responded to allegations surrounding the death of 26-year-old nurse Mary Habila, who was found dead in one of his apartments. Umahi denies any involvement and says claims linking him to the incident are false and defamatory. The minister says Habila died from complications related to excessive bleeding and describes her as a trusted aide whom he regarded as a daughter. He also says she had a history of medical challenges and had been receiving treatment before her death.
