Midland Pullman at Lockerbie 25 10 21

Unlike its neighbour across the border, Carlisle, which has been awash with charter trains this year (or at least since the lifting of pandemic restrictions), Lockerbie sees few specials - so I felt I couldn't miss the scheduled break this afternoon for the Midland Pullman's replenishment stop in the Up Loop immediately south of Lockerbie station. The train was travelling from Fort William to Reading - a spectacular trip on a glorious sunny day in Dumfries and Galloway - I can't answer for the rest of the country!
