UTA Mid Valley Express - Opening Day

UTA's Spring Change Day was one week ago, April 12, 2026. As part of that change, UTA started a new Bus Rapid Transit line - the Mid Valley Express. Starting in West Valley City, the line serves Taylorsville and the Salt Lake Community College Taylorsville/Redwood camp[us before entering a busway along 4700 South before finally arriving at Murray Central TRAX and FrontRunner station. Now, ridership wasn't high on its opening day, but remember this was a Sunday. I'm certain things will only get better from here, considering both the OGX and UVX continue to be popular.
