Socializar sendo autista NÃO é simples! Descubra a verdade! 😖

Teaching social skills to autistic children is not about forcing interactions or repeating ready-made phrases. It is about creating real opportunities for connection, in the child's own time, respecting their needs and ways of being in the world. Many people still believe that socializing is something that “comes naturally.” But for those on the spectrum, these skills need to be taught with intention, care, and well-founded strategies. In this video, we talk about the main challenges involved in social development in autism, explain why these skills should not be treated as “intuitive,” and show, in practice, how families, teachers, and professionals can guide children in a respectful, scientific, and affectionate way. When we stop waiting for children to “fit in” and start building paths for them to participate in their own way, everything changes. Socialization is not about performance: it is about connection, presence, and safety.
