These groundbreaking collaborations will celebrate Britain’s custodians of soil, sea and seed, showcasing their positive solutions to climate change, the biodiversity crisis and social justice. About the Farmers Lauriston Agroecology Farm is run by a majority-women workers cooperative. They are restoring a 100-acre urban site near Edinburgh – growing food, biodiversity and community as a local response to the challenges of climate change, wildlife collapse and lack of equal access to healthy, fresh, affordable food. k i s t noun // scottish - a chest used for storing precious things About the Poet Iona Lee is a poet, artist, music-maker, storyteller and spoken-word performer from Edinburgh. A leading light of Scotland’s live poetry scene for the past ten years, appearing on radio and television and reading her work all over the UK and Europe, including Glastonbury, the world slam championships in Paris, and the Edinburgh International Book Festival. Hot Poets is an award-winning Arts organisation, working in the highest levels and deepest roots of the climate space to powerfully communicate climate change science and action through spoken word poetry .
