¿Como hacer los frotis de sangre periférica? Sigue estos consejos

The peripheral blood smear is part of cytometry or blood count analysis and, once stained with Wright's stain, allows us to evaluate the morphology of the three cell lines that make up the blood: red blood cells (erythrocytes), white blood cells (leukocytes), and platelets. The smear has three parts: head, body, and tail. The body is the ideal portion for microscopic evaluation, in an area where the erythrocytes barely touch. It is recommended to increase the smear angle in samples from highly anemic patients and decrease it in patients with polycythemia.
