Hello everyone! In this video we return to the countryside in the area between Caorle and Eraclea to witness another threshing day of the 2023 season. At work we find Team Pedol driving an old John Deere glory: the 2256 combine harvester. Produced from 1997 to 2001, this thresher was offered with a 6-cylinder turbo diesel engine capable of delivering 180 HP in the less powerful version and 330 HP in the more powerful one. Engine displacement ranged from 6.7 liters in the basic version to 8.1 liters in the more powerful version. The same goes for the fuel tank: which ranged from a minimum capacity of 450 liters to a maximum of 550 litres. According to data, a maximum speed of 25 km/h was foreseen for all versions. The working width of the cutting unit ranges from a minimum of 485 cm to a maximum of 610. The weight of the vehicle ranges from a minimum of 11.5 tonnes to a maximum of 13.7 tonnes, depending on the version chosen. The capacity of the grain tank is a minimum of 6000 liters but can reach a maximum of 9500.
