There is an old, abandoned motel located next to the national highway. It is said that it was once a place frequently visited by truck drivers and travelers. However, now only a rusty signboard and broken windows remain to remember those days. Upon opening the door and stepping inside, a damp, musty smell of mold permeated the entire hallway. While most of the guest rooms were in a complete mess, strangely, traces of daily life remained intact in a few of them. Old Bibles and Unification Church-related books lay on the bedside table, covered in dust, and a piece of paper with the words "True Parents" written on it was still taped to the wall. In one corner of the room, water bottles, instant noodle containers, and medicine packets remained, creating an atmosphere as if someone had lived there until recently and suddenly vanished. The room at the end of the hallway was particularly peculiar. The window was covered with black plastic sheeting, and notes with names and dates were scattered across the floor. The names of various regions across the country were written on the wall, giving the impression that someone had kept a record of the people, as if managing them. According to nearby residents, followers of a specific religion used to live communally in this motel. It is said that although the lights were on every night, it was difficult to even see a human shadow during the day. Although it is now a complete ruin, stories still remain that if you passed by the national highway late at night, you could see a faint light coming from the second-floor windows of that motel.
