Two Catholic luminaries in the Popecast today. Monsignor Gerard de Korte, Bishop of ’s Hertogenbosch, is in the studio, together with another prominent Catholic: journalist Leo Fijen. A book by them was published this week. For a year, the two wrote letters to each other about life, their friendship, and the future of the church in the Netherlands. Those letters have now been collected in ‘Friendship in a Time of Polarization’. Stijn Fens talks with De Korte and Fijen about being Catholic in these confusing times of unrest and war.
