Influenced by both Tokyo and New York, he stands out in Japanese next-generation R&B scene. At age 10, he was discovered by JUJU and performed "Kono Yoru wo Tomete yo" together on stage at Nippon Budokan. He quickly gained recognition as a vocal prodigy, appearing frequently on national television. From ages 12 to 16, he moved to Brooklyn as part of the international artist development project "Project TARO" led by avex and LDH. While living on Church Avenue in Flatbush, he immersed himself in soul music and the local scene. During this time, he won the amateur night at the Apollo Theater twice. In 2021, he made his solo debut with "ALL MINE" which entered Spotify's Viral 50 chart. He has since released 8 singles and one EP. In 2023, he released an official cover of Hikaru Utada's iconic "First Love", earning praise for his modern reinterpretation of early 2000s R&B textures. His recent single "Read Your Lips" was co-written with Matt Cab and Chrishan-the American hitmaker behind tracks for Ty Dolla $ign, Ye, and Chris Brown. With deep ties to Tokyo's street culture, he has performed at Soulection's stage at ComplexCon Long Beach curated by Verdy, as well as BEATCHILD, a youth-powered event series with a cult following. His artistic practice sits at the intersection of music, fashion, and visual culture.
