With Wonder - Short Film - 16mm Film

Initially a fashion film, this piece became a visual letter for those who needed to slow down. Early last year I had an opportunity to direct a short film on 16mm, shot by the talented Julian Panetta At the time I was burnt out, and it seemed that so many of my talented friends felt the same way. I wanted to engage in the wonder I had on recent overseas travels, the type where you’d get enamoured by something so simple like a house with a strange door, or the curve of a tree, an isle in a local convenience store. I wanted to bring that perspective in to my every day life - to have the eyes of a tourist in my own city. Inspired by Soft Modality pieces and growing gently, we made this.
