‘They had an off-ramp’: US takes swift action against Iran following latest provocation

The Foreign Desk Editor-in-Chief Lisa Daftari reacts to the recent escalation in Iran after three commercial ships were targeted in the Strait of Hormuz. “We know they cannot be trusted; obviously, they were looking to arouse or get some sort of reaction out of Donald Trump. They wanted to perhaps go back to kinetic warfare, that’s what it would look like,” Ms Daftari told Sky News Digital Presenter James Bolt. “This does not make sense to anybody. They had a chance; they had an off-ramp; they didn’t take it. “We obviously had to take action again, so here we go. We’re involved once again in military warfare.”
